As a new home owner, I have discovered the joys of trying to figure out what to ‘do’ with my home. I know that most people that I know, friends and family, seem to fill their homes with ‘stuff’. They try to find the items that seem to reflect them or that they identify with as if that will make the house more like themselves. Does that even really matter at all? I can’t help but wonder if we’re going about it the wrong; from their stainless steel bar to those plastic little bobbing heads on their shelves, to the yin yang coffee table with the matching couch and love seat they bought from the Ikea magazine.
I am going to need to buy a stage set in the near future, and I want to have one that is custom built for the purposes of this particular play. It is going to be a sort of local production that some of the members of the church that I go to are going to be putting on, and I want to make sure that it actually looks pretty good, so it seems like a good idea to get a stage built. Right now, I am looking into stage sets and people that are able of designing custom ones.
I am not sure how much money I will be able to afford to have this set built for the play. It is just a church production, so we will not be able to put too much money towards it from the church’s funds. Maybe some people that are involved in the play are willing to donate a bit of money.
